‘Low Carbon Workspace’ Office Refurbishment , Shoreditch
An existing office building dating from the mid 1980’s. The lease is expiring and the building looks and feels tired. In today’s market, even if it were in ‘new’ condition it would be very difficult to let. We have developed a strategy to find alternative uses for the building, and to make it attractive to a far larger potential user group by proposing it as a ‘Low Carbon Workplace’. The refurbishment works will substantially up-grade the thermal performance of the building fabric whilst introducing a new system of passive and active environmental controls. The result will be a re-cycled workspace offering some of the lowest running costs in the London market.
