Barnes High Street – Industrial Unit Refurbishment, Barnes
Re-development of an existing light industrial unit to the rear of Barnes High Street. The proposal was to replace a building in considerable disrepair with a new unit offering modern standards of construction, performance, and sanitary accommodation, as well as increasing the amount of accommodation on the site by making it 2 rather than 1 storey. The proposal used a light-weight zinc cladding system over highly insulated timber framed construction, with large timber framed glazing assemblies at each end.
