Frognal Gardens – Private House, Hampstead
The existing house, dating from the 1950’s, was unmodernized and uninsulated. Our project opened up the ground floor to provide contemporary flowing family living accommodation, and a new bedroom and bathroom arrangement at first floor level offering ensuite bathrooms to 3 of the 5 bedrooms. As part of the internal works we moved the double height hall and incorporated a new sculptural helicoidal steel stair, and glass and steel landing.
Externally, the house has a new insulated render system, and heating is provided by a ground source heating system.
