Fulham Road – Private House, Fulham
The existing house had been divided to have a separate basement flat, leaving the upper house too small for a large family, and with poor access to the rear garden. Our proposal re-united the basement and upper parts via a two storey rear extension including double height space and fully glazed elevations towards the rear garden. The glazing system towards the garden features external sunshading, whilst the ground level flank glazing is shielded by external perforated metal screens.
